 Canon's update to the wildly popular full frame EOS 5D is now available for rental at SC Motion and Stills! I have paired the camera with a full set of Zacuto accessories so that it can be configured and used in several different ways. If you haven't seen the images produced by this camera yet, prepare to be amazed. It truly is stunning!
21.1 Megapixel Full-frame CMOS Sensor
The high-resolution 35mm full-frame CMOS image sensor incorporated into the EOS 5D Mark II sets the standard for its class, featuring a remarkable 21.1 million effective pixels for a maximum recorded resolution of 5616 x 3744 pixels. Since the image sensor is full-frame, all lenses used with the camera provide the angle of view that was intended by the manufacturer.... and you'll be happy to know that I have several lens options to choose from!
Record HD Video
The EOS 5D Mark II records full High-Definition video with 1080p image quality and various capture frame rates. The camera can play back video clips to a High-Definitiion monitor (I have two to choose from) in full HD quality. You will literally have to see it to believe it. It looks amazing!
